The number 270 represents the 270 electoral votes required to win the presidency. But The Path to 270 is built long before Election Day—and far beyond the presidential ballot.

Presidents do not emerge from a political vacuum. The direction of the country is shaped election by election: in city halls and state legislatures, governors' offices and Congress, and ultimately the White House. These elections build political power, develop future leaders, shape public policy, influence national debate, and create the environment in which presidential elections are won and governing agendas are carried out.

270 exists to influence that entire path.

We work across the electoral landscape—local, state, congressional, and presidential—to build coalitions, engage and mobilize voters, support strategic electoral efforts, and strengthen the political infrastructure necessary to create lasting influence.

At the center of that work is media and strategic communication. Through original media, digital platforms, social media, advertising, storytelling, voter education, and other communications strategies, 270 will help shape public discourse, elevate issues and voices, connect local political battles to national priorities, and move people from awareness to engagement—and from engagement to action.
